AP Testing Information

TO:  Students taking AP Tests

WHAT:  AP testing - May 2026
WHERE:  JCHS          
WHEN: May 4-8 and May 11-15      

● The Morning Sessions will be from 8:00 a.m . to 12:00 . Please report to the designated testing location by 7:50 a.m. or earlier. Please note that testing could take longer depending upon each exam.    

● The Afternoon Sessions will be from 12:00 to approximately 4:00 p.m. (Please eat lunch prior to testing.  Please report to the designated testing location. Please arrange for transportation home from your test session if you are a bus rider.  

● If you are taking an AM and PM exam, please pack your lunch or let Mrs. Welch know so we can get you a tray.    

BE ON TIME !!!  We will not delay... arrive on time.    

LUNCH:      Morning test takers can eat lunch after they complete the test.                                      Afternoon test takers should eat lunch first.                            

ATTENDANCE:    I will turn in a list of those taking exams, and you will be                                                    excused as a school activity.  Please let your teachers know in advance.  

BRING:  

✓ Several sharpened #2 pencils with erasers

✓ Black or dark-blue ballpoint pens

✓ Approved calculators for Calculus, Statistics and Physics testing  

✓ Ruler or straightedge for Physics only (optional)     Questions?  Please see me in the counseling office or call me at 659-3063.

AP Registration

SIGN UP FOR AP EXAMS 

SIGN UP FOR AP EXAMS This year students will sign up for AP exams STARTING, September 2, 2025 with a deadline to order without penalty by November 14, 2025. Students will register for exams by completing a google sign up form.

AP EXAM FEES WILL BE PAID FOR DIRECTLY BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT

● Please note that if you do not sign up within the window of 9/2-11/14-- AP charges a $40 fee for late registration.

● If you decide not to test and want to cancel your exam or if you fail to take the test on your scheduled exam date, AP charges a $40 fee for cancelling an exam.

● Any fee that is acquired will need to be paid for directly to JCHS by check or cash or a fee will be added to your student account.

AP implements these fees as a way to encourage students to commit to the exams early and stay engaged throughout the year, increasing chances of earning college credit.

Registration for year-long courses

Opens: September 2nd at 8:40 a.m.
Closes: November 14th at 3:40 p.m.
