JCHS has a state chapter of Epsilon Beta, sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. Our club promotes literacy and library, throughout the school in various ways. We find new and creative ways to get students involved in our library whether it be through Book Clubs, our annual Giving Tree, field trips, games in the library, and many more options. Active seniors of Epsilon Beta, who have been members for at least one school year, may wear the green and gold graduation cords of the club. An active member is defined as one who has attended at least 70% of the meetings.
