Homecoming is just around the corner. You must have 90% attendance in order to attend the Homecoming dance. This means you can only miss 4 days between the first day of school and the Homecoming date of Friday, October 16. See your principal if you need to make up attendance for missed days.
Seniors-The Mayer scholarship is now open and available in your graduation google classroom or in counseling.
Friendly reminder that any student that is working on E2020 and does not have a study skills class, you must reach out to your counselor to schedule a time to have your tests proctored.
Reminder to all students - you are stay in the cafeteria until the bell rings to dismiss for lunch.. Students are not allowed to stand in stairwells leading to or from the cafeteria or eat lunch in collaboration spaces. Restrooms in the jay bar are used during that time and students are not allowed to go to other restrooms.
UCM is holding a workshop for Theatre, Dance & Communication as well as an opportunity to see their production of "Shrek the Musical"! There are only 30 slots available so if you are interested, email Ms. Hash or stop by her room before or after school. Deadline to sign up is October 13th!"

Many of you continue to gather in small groups in the hallways and have been reminded multiple times by staff to head to class. You know who you are. If this continues to be an issue, you will be asked to wait in the office until the 8:35 bell rings rather than gathering in the hallways. If you are confused about the expectation or have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your principal. Thank you for helping us start the day the right way!

With Homecoming just around the corner, we want to remind everyone that campaigning for Homecoming Court should not take place on school grounds or at school-sponsored events. Being nominated for any court throughout the school year is a privilege and an honor. We want to maintain the integrity of the process and allow students to make their selections without organized campaigning. Last night boys swimming had a meet in Sedalia. Kentyn Moore, Jameson Winemiller, Evan Watson, and Kieran Rother all had PR's, and Rayce Shanuth made his swimming debut in the 50 Freestyle event. Evan Watson dropped a whopping 13 seconds in his Freestyle event. Our Home Meet this season is at the YMCA across the street on October 8th!

You can pick up your 2025 - 2026 Yearbooks this week from 8:10 - 8:30am in room 227. If you haven’t bought a Yearbook, there are still some available, and you can pay through cash check or Cash app. See Miss Sanderson in room 227.
During the first day of school, staff talked with each student about Jay Ready expectations, please remember when you arrive to school, grab your breakfast and head straight to first hour. Excessive reminders to students will result in consequences.
Cell phones and non noise canceling headphones are prohibited in schools from 8:40 - 3:40 pm each day. Remember it is the LAW!
Interested in Theatre? Check out the call board outside Room 325 for opportunities to get involved at local theatres. Have an event to add to the call board? Email Ms. Hash or stop by Room 325 before or after school.

School picture day will be this Thursday and Friday. Freshmen and sophomores will take their pictures on Thursday and Juniors and Seniors will take their pictures on Friday.
Student who have an open block or blocks at the beginning or end of the day must leave campus when your scheduled is over. Hanging out in the parking lots or roaming the hallways is not allowed. If you have questions, please see your counselor or Dr. Fisher.
