January 2025
Second semester at JCHS has begun. Reminder to all students who missed their finals: Students should email or talk to their teachers to schedule a time to make up the final(s). The deadline is Friday January 16th.
December 2025
The end of Term 2 is fast approaching. We are so proud of our Jaybirds for their continued efforts in the classroom and our school community. Please remind your student the importance of attending school every day and putting forth their best efforts as a student and a person at Jefferson City High School.
November 2025
We have completed our first term of the 2025 - 2026 school year. Thanks to our students, staff, and parents for an amazing first term. As a reminder in our last newsletter, term one grades are not a final grade but a continuation into second semester. Encourage your students to come to school each day with a positive attitude and a willingness to be the best student in each of their classes.
October 2025
We are approximately six weeks into the 25-26 school year, and our students are working hard daily to be academically successful and be accountable for their actions inside and outside the classroom.
It is hard to believe that Friday, October 17th marks the last day of Term 1 at JCHS. Kudos to the staff and parents at JCHS as our students have had the support necessary for a great first term at JCHS.
We wanted to share a couple reminders to parents regarding the end of Term as well as work on some areas of improvement as we progress into Term 2.

We have had an extraordinary start to the 2025-2026 school year. Many thanks to the staff, students, and parents for embracing our traditions we have established at JCHS to ensure we have a structured environment where academic success is inevitable.
